- Get 4 cup fresh broccoli
- Get 1 small onion, chopped
- Prepare 4 tbsp butter (divided)
- Provide 2 clove garlic, grated
- Provide 2 tbsp flour

- Prepare 2 cup half and half milk
- Get 16 oz pepper jack cheese

- In a large pot bring some water to boil, add salt. Pour broccoli in and blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water and set aside.
