- Take 500 grams Biriyani samba rice
- Use 100 gms Paneer
- Take 1/4 cup Green peas

- Rinse the rice with water and let it soak for 20 minutes. - Combine garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in a mixer jar and blend to a smooth paste. - Cut the paneer into small cubes.
- In a bowl add yogurt, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, hing and paneer and stir well and keep aside for 20 minutes.
- In a heavy pot, heat the ghee and oil. Then add the biryani leaves, curry leaves, onions and green chilies and saute until the onion turns white.
- Add the tomatoes and saute until the onions are well combined. - Then add the masala paste that prepared and stir well until the raw smell goes.
- Add green peas and paneer mixture and mix well. Keep the stove in medium flame for 10 minutes and stir well until the raw smell goes.
- Then add the coriander leaves, mint leaves, water and mix well. - When the water starts to boil, add the soaked rice and stir well.
- Cover the pot and keep the stove in medium flame. Check-in certain interval whether the rice is cooked.
- In another pan, pour the ghee and then add cashews, raisins and saute until golden. - Once it is fried, remove from pan. Now add the chopped onion to the same pan and fry until golden brown.
- When the biryani is ready, remove from the stove and sprinkle with fried cashews, raisins and onions. - Yummy Paneer Biryani can be served with raita and eggplant curry.
