- Mix the yoghurt, turmeric, mint, biryani masala, chilli powder and salt. Add the paneer slices to the well and soak for half an hour if possible.
- Basmati rice should be washed thoroughly and soaked for 20 to 25 minutes. Pour water into a pan and add the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, shahi Jeera, bay leaf and pepper until well boiled. Once water comes to boil add rice and cook it 90%.
- Take another pan, in which the butter should be well seasoned with all the garam masala, shahi jeera and onions. Once onions is translucent add green chilli, ginger garlic, chopped tomatoes, mix well. When the tomato is cooked well, add the soaked paneer mixture and cook for 2mins and pour 1 warm cup water.
- Once paneer is half cooked add badam paste and mix well. Now take a heavy bottom vessel for layering. Before layering mix the fresh creme to the paneer after removing from heat.
- First pour equal mixture of paneer follow by next layer of rice sprinkled with fried onions, mint and saffron mised with warm milk. Continue the layer as necessary. Close the lid tight with foil paper and place a tawa. Once tawa is hot keep the biriyani pot and cook for 15mins.

- For raitha add the sliced onions in a bowl with icecubes. Take curd in a bowl and blend with all the ingredients. Before serving add the soaked onions.
