The ingredients needed to cook Apple Dumplings:
- You need 1 can crescent rolls (makes 8 rolls)
- Take 1 granny smith apple
- Prepare 1/2 stick butter (melted)
- Provide 3/4 cup sugar
- Use 1 tsp cinnamon
- Provide 2/3 cup mountain dew
Steps to make Apple Dumplings:
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Core & peel apple. Cut into 8 wedges
- Roll each apple wedge in crescent dough, sealing edges. Place in 8x8 ungreased cake pan
- In small bowl, combine butter, sugar and cinnamon
- Spoon sugar mixture over dumplings
- Pour mountain dew on top of dumplings (gently, to not wash off sugar)
- Bake on middle rack, uncovered, for 45 minutes
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving
